Paul McCartney on my mind.

In Mass today the song Let Me Roll It kept running through my mind. Sung correctly it has an estatic feel. The narrator's love is so huge that he can't possible put it into words. When McCartney wrote this it was probably about some woman or maybe his first wife or knowing Sir Paul he may have just tossed it off because he needed one more song for an album but it is very pretty and it's oddly close to how I felt when the priest elevated the Host. The wild shock of joy that filled my soul was incredible.

You gave me something, I understand,
You gave me loving in the palm of my hand
I can’t tell you how I feel
My heart is like a wheel
Let me roll it
Let me roll it to you
Let me roll it
Let me roll it to you

I want to tell you
And now’s the time
I want to tell you thatYou’re going to be mine
I can’t tell you how
I feelMy heart is like a wheel.
Let me roll it
Let me roll it to you
Let me roll it
Let me roll it to you
