When I was a child my mother brought this
book home for me. It was the
Visconti Hours, an illustrated book of prayers painted for
ruler of Milan, Gian Galeazzo Visconti in the 14th century. I spent many hours looking at the pages. The book was published in 1972 and my copy is in pretty good shape except for a cracked spine.
