Rest in peace Fr. Pablo!

Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him.
May he rest in peace.

Only once in my entire 56 years of life was my breath stopped by another person entering the room and my being instantly recognizing holiness (in person). It was at a homeschooling conference in Virginia, and Fr. Pablo walked into the room to give a talk. One of the few moments in my life that I was speechless, my husband looked at me wondering if I was alright. I squeezed his loving hand, and not taking my eyes off of Fr. Pablo, said, "A saint has come in to the room." Thank you, Loving God for Fr. Pablo's time with us. May he be with our Lord this day.

I never got to meet him. But, he along with Fr. Rutler are on my 'short list' of those I'd like to meet.

I'd watch him on EWTN and just about burst from HIS enthusiasm. Thank goodness we live in an age of recordings. (Although I'm going to get Vianney's sermons one day.)

Thank you for your sweet tribute! He was a grand man.
