a word from Benedict XVI

“It is sad that there are what you might call professional Catholics who make a living on their Catholicism, but in whom the spring of faith flows only faintly, in a few scattered drops.” Benedict XVI

I’ve desired to write something similar to this on my webpage and this has given me a concept. online-essay-writer.org Cheers.

Ha.

I was shocked to hear from our new recently installed provincial (we have been attending Mass at a local men's religious shrine) that a semi well known lay Catholic apologist would give a talk ar the shrine. I was even more shocked when the provincial said, "Cost is ONLY $39 to cover the presentation material". *Sigh* I am so very weary... What are we to do?

Was he thinking of Wojtyla and himself, back in 1994?

You know, that Christmas was "year 5199 after the Beginning when God created Heaven and Earth" became "unknown ages after" etc, and "year 2957 after the Flood of Noah" became "several thousand years after" etc.

I can't say either Akin or Armstrong were doing worse than that, on that specific question, they were following the lead of Wojtyla and Ratzinger.
