A Future Conversation?

Mama, what does pastoral mean?

It means, Child, that when your father and his new "wife" go to church the priest has to pretend that I'm dead.

This is one of the most powerful things I've seen, Dymphna, and it brought tears to my eyes. I'm going to link to it from my blog. God bless you!

Spot on, Dymphna.

The power of truth is usually revealed in utmost simplicity.

On one side, 260 pages of theological flim-flam meant to confuse the Faithful into accepting adultery as mercy; marital death as joy and life.

On the other; this face of devastation and loss; the one not mentioned at all.

Jesus is with her and her children. He is not with the other.

This doesn't sound like a really pastoral status at all.

Eventually and unfortunately, the integration of the divorced-remarried may well mean the de-integration of the divorced-not-remarried.

Actually, this is pretty much what is already going on, in the dioceses that approve 90%+ of petitions for annulment.

Hey! Put the text across the image itself and make a meme out of it.
It'll go viral.
