Incredibly cute

The Church does not have a secret nursery for where they raise nuns and priests. Pray for vocations and come, squeal in delight with me at these two incredibly cute little babes who were St. Teresa and St. Therese for Halloween.

I'm squealing!

One of the saddest aspects of our modern sized families is that when a child has a vocation parents are sometimes undermining because they don't want to let go of 'grandchildren'.

I only have two darlings, not by design, but since they've been tiny I've asked the Lord to help me stay out of the way of their vocations. No matter if it's marriage, singlehood or religious. It's hard to Keep Mama's nose out of it.

I was just reflecting about Father Huneycutt's (Orthodox, not Catholic) remark about Evangelicals.

"They do nothing wrong, they just play at being Church"

You know, these girls play at being nuns, but have made no vows, that boy plays at being a priest, but there is no bread on his patena or wine in his chalice.

Pentecostals also lack valid sacraments (at least above baptism and marriage) but sometimes it could be as innocent as that five year old dressed up as a priest.
