Thank you Dr. Tait

In 1883, Dr. Lawson Tait invented the salpinectomy a procedure which saved my life after a ruptured ectopic pregnancy years ago in November. Now that I know his name I will pray for him.

How wonderful it is to say thank you. I am Rh negative and only have my five children (who are all positive) because of the doctor who developed RhoGam in the 1960s. Dr. Vincent Freda was working at Columbia and his discovery has almost eliminated the problems associated with the Rh negative factor. I am following your example and praying for him today and throughout this month. He died in 2003. I'm going to have a Mass said for the repose of his soul. Thank you, Dymphna, for giving me this inspiration!

I'll pray for Dr. Freda too. The RH factor was such a heart breaker for so many young parents.
