You've got such an interesting taste in art. You always find such wonderful things to post!
It's the look of sheer delight on Mary's face and the "I'm here!" experession on Baby Jesus that just thrills me. There is so much going on in this painting. Every little detail is exquisite. I just love it.
It tickles my funny bone. Poor Jesus has to lie on the floor because the animals are munching out of the manger. And the little angel peaking around Mary's dress is so sweet.
