May the most Holy, most Sacred, most Adorable,
Most Incomprehensible and Ineffable Name of God
Be always Praised, Blessed, Loved, Adored and Glorified,
In Heaven, on Earth and under the Earth,
By all the Creatures of God,
And by the Sacred Heart of Our Lord Jesus Christ,
In the most Holy Sacrament of the Altar.
Amen.

I know this is a classic prayer, but I've never understood this part of it...WE are called to adore God; it makes no sense to pray for Him to adore Himself. To pray that the Son adore the Father would imply a heresy to me; that the Son is not consubstantial with and equal in divinity to the Father. Do they not love Each Other rather than One adore the Other; with adoration being our duty? seriously asking for clarification here.
I never understood it either until recently. I think it means that when the Holy Sacrament is offered it offers glory to the Lord.
