One of the best books I ever read

One of the best books I've ever read was "A Right to Be Merry" by Mother Mary Francis, a Poor Clare nun. She was a beautiful writer and this is a marvelous peek into the extraordinary life of the Poor Clares.

On 20/20's special on Faith in America last week, there was a good piece on cloistered nuns which included some amazing footage of Diane Sawyer's interview with Mother Mary Francis and some of the other nuns at the Poor Clare's Roswell, NM monastery. And you're right, this is a wonderful book.

It's a gift to be merry, its a gift to be free
it's a gift to know just where you ought to be ...

Or was it "simple"? Or is there a great difference?
