Mass without pews--war time edition

This Mass was in Vietnam. The altar is made of what looks like sandbags and a MRE(?)  C rations (thanks Digital Hairshirt) box.

C-rations (c-rats), not MREs.

Three Catholic priests won the Congressional Medal of Honor for their service as chaplains in Vietnam, two posthumously -- and one of those has a cause for sainthood pending. In fact, every chaplain who has won the CMH since the Civil War -- and there have been five -- has been a Catholic priest. Two have causes for sainthood. Coincidence? I think not.

I read Che Guevara's Art of Guerilla Warfare. He admired Ho Chi Minh.

What he had to say about him convinced me, Ho and he were bad men.
