Dorothy Day nuttiness strikes again

The Dorothy Day Worker's House in DC is going to host an abomination. They are going to allow women who are pretending to be priests hold a fake mass. I tend to avoid anything with Dorothy Day's name on it because although she may have been a very holy person the organization with her name on it tends to be whackadoodle. As for these fake priests....well, there's few things more pitiful on earth than a woman who wants to be a man.

Amen to that Dymphna, there is nothing more pitiful than a woman trying to be a man.

It actually hurts to see it.

I've been wondering about Dorothy Day. I've heard the name but didn't know what she was all about. She's on my list to investigate.

The "whackadoodle" (love that word!) parish I visited today had the priest mentioning the name Dorothy Day, so I wasn't sure I'd really like to learn more.

I got to hear a "gender-inclusive" service! Lucky me! (said with a not-so-believable tone)

wackadoodle, my new favorite word for the time being, women trying to be men is a sad thing, as well as despicable. (I have a hard enough time seeing women in cassocks)

Sad. Dorothy Day and Peter Maurin would never willingly have gone protestant against the Magisterium.

Are they fake priests or
pagan priestesses?

This always bugs me: it says on their building "Catholic Worker House." Why in the Sam Hill aren't they working? Why the shenanigans? Why the heretical theatricals? That's not helping the poor, is it?

I seem to have gotten a bad reputation among trad Catholics, since, on the one hand I am a Distributist, on the other, in US Distributist is so associated with Catholic Worker Movement and Dorothy Day.

I never really read her.

Or, I never read her.
