hope and gloom sat down to chat and it turned into fight club

Since the first rule of Fight Club is - you do not talk about Fight Club I won't go into detail ---hope won but barely.

I'm certain now that Obama is going to win. None of the eunuchs ---oops, I mean republicans will dare give him any trouble becaue the race card will be thrown down. Many whites are terrified of being called a racist so that's that. The country is going to be s-----d and for anyone with a brain a that vampire glamour spell that Obama seems to do won't make it any better. But, if you remember after 4 years of Jimmy Carter came Reagan.

After reading some of the rather pathetic details about Fr. Francis Mary's defection from his duty I was forcefully reminded that the priesthood is constantly under attack by the wickedness and snares of the devil. We need to pray, make sacrifices and do pennace. Check out the Opus Angelorum Crusade for Priests and adopt a priest to pray for or visit the Priests in crisis blog and pray for the priests it champions.
In the end, I decided to do what St. Joan of Arc would do: arise, endure, kick some evil butt.

Someone had the audacity to call me racist the other day because I wasn't voting for Hussien Obama. The funny thing is that he's half white, of course no one would dare mention it.

Which brings up a much needed question, is it right to use the government to get back for the sins of the past? The reason that people are afraid to vote against Obama is because of the sins of the past committed by whites, plain and simple. The sad fact that I have to mention that is beyond belief. When will society realize that you can not control things of the past, but you can control things of the present and the things of the present effect the things of the future? Was what they did to the African American community bad? of course, no one's denying that. The question is what is being done to prevent such things from happening again. You and me as African Americans should be embarrassed by the fact that people are scared to vote against someone they know is morally evil just because of their race. I do not believe for one min that it's correct to use the government to obtain retribution for the sins of the past. I'm a firm believer in objectivity, which apparently no longer applies to today's world. God help us all :)

Yes. God help us all. I wish white people would realize that voting for Obama won't make up for slavery or Jim Crow. Those sins are set in time. The sinners involved are dead and mostly in hell. No apologies are needed for the sins of one's forefathers.

On the other side, if all the whackos actually succeed in electing their Messiah as the president....can we look at anyone who cries "racist", point at the White House, and then tell them to "shut up"?

It's not a big silver lining, but it's something.
