Down goes Maryland

More and more I realize that large number of  Americans really don't want to be free. They want sexual license and don't think beyond that. Like Essau they will gladly toss away everything in order to satisfy an appetite. Pity the poor priest who will be faced with Governor O'Malley and his meddlesome, loud mouthed wife when they present themselves for Communion this Sunday.

Maryland--founded as a refuge for Catholic. May Almighty God have mercy on us all!

Terra Mariae (Mary's Land) is not down for the count yet. The Senate must still take up the bill, but it is expected to pass in that chamber as it did last year. The Governor will then sign it.

I feel almost certain that it will then be petitioned to referendum (as one bill on in-state tuition already has). That seems to be way this is going nationally. The Governor of Washington state which just passed a Same-Sex Marriage bill is also Catholic if I'm not mistaken.

The priest can simply deny them communion, no?

When opposite priority was that of early Christians, it set slaves free.

What is this priority likely to make of freemen?
