Ave Maria

AVE MARIA, gratia plena, Dominus tecum. Benedicta tu in mulieribus, et benedictus fructus ventris tui, Iesus. Sancta Maria, Mater Dei, ora pro nobis peccatoribus, nunc, et in hora mortis nostrae. Amen.

I just saw this! I come to your site nearly daily and don't know how I could have missed this.

This is the best Christmas!

I am amazed at the Blue of her dress.

I told a Christian lady who isn't Catholic, but was selling a beautiful pendant with Our lady on it and told her why she is almost always in Blue. I was so overcome with how pretty the pendant was I had to share with her something about Mary. The Blue she is often seen in is the color of Royalty. The color of Heaven. I tried to convey why we call her the Queen of Heaven: It was Bathsheba who was Queen when her son Soloman was King! I hope I didn't come off kookie.

God Bless you Dymphna and Thank you very much.

Yup, there is one corner of the universe where the Kingdom of Judah or of Israel is still going strong, and that is Heaven.

"I hope I didn't come off kookie."

Whether you did so or not, it is not a fault of yours.
