I don't get it

I was reading a traditionalist minded blog today and was perplexed at the amount of Jew hatred the blogger seemed to express. This particular blogger is a young man with a family and boy do I feel sorry for his wife. His attitude was not unique. I've been to two Catholic forums and both had ugly things to say about Jews in America and Israelis. What's up with this? How do these Catholics go to Mass and face Jesus, who chose to be a Jewish man and pray to his dear mother, a Jewish woman and live with themselves?

Interesting that you brought this up. I am contemplating going to my first Latin mass, etc., and have been reading a tiny bit of trad literature - and yes - I have noticed an anti-Jew thing too.

I do, we call it original sin.

I go to the TLM...therefore a Traditionalist... I have no hatred for people of the Jewish faith and firmly support Israel in their current challenges. I share in your concern for anti-semitism, but unfortunately find it in many parts of society. Very sad.

I would not single out Traditionalists as you will find the hatred in many places unfortunately.

I don't mean to single out Tradiitionalists. I love the TLM and I'm no liberal which is why the anti Jewish sentiments in certain circles grieves me.

I find it puzzling myself, and I've asked. Nobody ever gives me a straight answer. Perhaps I'll ask my pal the rabbi?

I noticed it on a site that had otherwise fascinating info about a particular saint I was reading up on. It made me sad, and I had to stop going to that site.

I think boycotting sites that promote antisemitism is the best medicine. Good Call.

I link to this site might be helpful so we can all avoid it. I am a very conservative/traditional Catholic and I have a great love for the Jews. Anti-semitism comes from the devil who hates God's people. I highly recommend the reading of the Old Testament in its totality and you come to understand VERY well how God loves the Jews. Who God loves so we should also.

Recall that Jewish businessman whom you worried about?

Or Adolf Hitler, a very talented painter whom they put out of business, so the poor guy had to become a politician?
