When people say "Well if a priest is not married, how does he understand about family life?" my response is "Priests grow up in families, have brothers and sisters, have aunts and uncles. They do not hatch out of eggs. They experiece the same things that all of us experience. Life and death. Happiness and sadness. "

I recall one great Church man of Germany called "the lion of Münster".

He was condemning Eugenics.

One or two National Socialist party members went to tell him celibate men should not speak about reproduction, he answered "I forbid you to insult the Führer!"

Obviously, Adolf and Eva were not yet married.
