In reparation for blasphemy....

Eternal Father, I offer Thee the Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity of Thy dearly beloved Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, in atonement for our sins and for the sins of the whole world.

Where did you find that picture?

Now there's a Christ after my Old Testament heart!

Speaking of blasphemy, at our most recent SSPX Mass, the priest took pains to explain that either reading the book or seeing the movie of The Da Vinci Code would constitute a mortal sin!

I lost a perfervidly-minded, lapsed-Catholic friend of over forty-years standing because I refused to read a copy he gave me; long before I'd heard from our priest, but I'd read some reviews.

I found it on the Fisheaters.com site under the devotion to the Holy Face section. It was painted by an artist who studied the Shroud of Turin.

Even if just first fifty pages and stopping in disgust as soon as Teabing starts his blasphemous speech?
